Annual Meeting to be held on Sunday,
September 15 at 5 p.m. in their main
facility in Atlanta, Illinois.

Church of Christ in Lincoln is sponsoring a
Christian Carnival on Sunday from 2:30 to
4:30 p.m. The activities will be on the
church's parking lot, at the corner of
Eighth and Maple streets.
 The
public is invited. All ages are welcome to
join in the games, snacks, songs, stories
and more fun -- and win prizes, too -- all
for free.

VBS (Weird Animals theme this year) will take place from
June 23-27 from 8:30 am at the Knights of Columbus

Zion Lutheran Church, 205 Pulaski St. in Lincoln will
be hosting Vacation Bible School, June 23-27 from 9am to
12 noon. Water, water everywhere…and through it are
lessons about God’s plan of salvation. “River of Life” is a
week-long curriculum that features five favorite Bible
stories: Creation, Noah and the ark, the crossing of the Red
Sea, Jonah and the baptism of Jesus. Visit the Caribbean,
the Baltics, Russia, Africa and Asia in only five days! For

Community Ministry Opportunity
The City
of Lincoln is inviting area churches to "adopt" a flower bed in
our city parks for the summer. Basic gardening skills are
required. This
would be a great opportunity for classes, groups, and
individuals to serve our community.

The Youth of Armington Christian Church are hosting a
spaghetti dinner including garlic bread, drinks and
desserts, 4pm Friday, June 27 at Armington Christian
Church, 202 S. Monroe St. The dinner is prior to the 4th
Friday Music Jamboree which will be immediately following at
6:30 pm. A free-will offering will be accepted.
