22, 2014, at Manor Court Nursing Home in Clinton. |

Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 10:00
a.m. at Mountjoy Cemetery in rural Atlanta.

Atlanta
Obituary
Wilbur L. "Jiggs" Baker, 92 of Clinton, died on June
22, 2014 at Manor Court Nursing Home.
Graveside Services for Mr. Baker will be held on
Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Mountjoy
Cemetery in rural Atlanta.
Burial will be in Mountjoy Cemetery. Military Rites
will be accorded by the Atlanta American Legion
Post.
Wilbur Lee Baker was born February 3, 1922, in
Atlanta, the son of Harry and Fern Miller Baker. He
married Frances Mae King on July 14, 1940 in Peoria.
She preceded him in death on February 17, 2012.

Wilbur is survived by two daughters: Gladys Marie
(Larry) Anderson of Oregon and Carol (Steve) Day of
Georgia; one son: Randall (Brenda) Baker of Florida;
one sister: Patricia Bertsche of Kansas; five
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Baker served in the United States Marines during
WW II.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
