MOUNT PULASKI — Norman E. Wilham Sr.
passed away at 8:30 P.M. Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.

Norman E. Wilham Sr. passed away at 8:30 P.M.
Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center
in Springfield.
Norman was born in Mt. Pulaski on November 24, 1926,
son of Alfred and Blanche Eschbach Wilham. He was
united in marriage to Ruby Irene Jackson on July 18,
1947. She preceded him in death. Norman is survived
by his sons: Norman (Lori) Wilham Jr. of Bixby, OK;
and Dennis (Debra) Wilham of Chestnut, IL; one
brother Keith (Boots) Wilham who died the following
morning; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren,
seven great grandchildren, and four step great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, six brothers and sisters; one daughter
Carolyn Graber, and one great grandson.

Norman served his country in the U.S. Navy then he
worked at A.E. Staley in Decatur, Wilham
Construction in Mt. Pulaski, then retired as a
millwright at Kane Molasses Plant Laboratories in
Mt. Pulaski. He was affiliated with the Mt. Pulaski
Christian Church and he belonged to the American
Legion Post # 447.
Services for Norman will be held at 12:30 p.m. on
Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski with Mark Weber
officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-6:00
P.M. on Friday, February 28 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery with full
military rights accorded by the Mt. Pulaski American
Legion Post #447. Memorials may be made to the
American Legion Post #447 or to the Vonderlieth
Activity Department.
