LAKE FORK — Gary W. Stewart, 70, of
Lake Fork, passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield at
11:36 a.m. Thursday February 27, 2014.

Lake Fork: Gary W Stewart, 70, of Lake Fork, passed
away at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield at
11:36 a.m. Thursday February 27, 2014.
Gary was born on November 15, 1943 in Niantic, IL,
son of William John and Mildred Fern Beck Stewart.
He was united in marriage to Phyllis Green on June
20, 1964 in Mt Pulaski, IL; she survives him in Lake
Fork. He was a group leader at Borden Chemicals.

Also surviving Gary is his mother; two sons: Brian
Stewart of Mt Pulaski and Darren (Theresa) Stewart of
Athens, IL; six brothers: Kenny Stewart of Illiopolis, IL,
Ronald (Mary) Stewart of Mt Pulaski, IL, Richard Stewart of
Lake Fork, IL, Delmar (Sue) Stewart of Mt Pulaski, IL,
Dennis Stewart of Mt Pulaski, IL, and Mark Stewart of Mt
Pulaski, IL; one sister: Janice Cook of Mt Pulaski, IL; five
grandchildren: Rochelle, Brianna, Madison, Norah, James, and
one great grandchild Bianca. Gary was preceded in death by
his father and one brother Jerry.
Services for Gary will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 5,
2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski with James Morrell officiating. Visitation will be
from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday March 4, 2014 also at the funeral home
in Mt Pulaski. Burial at Carlyle Cemetery will follow the
service. Memorials may be given to Lake Fork Community
Center or Lake Fork Christian church.
