Herbert D. Dennison, 76, of Lincoln, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at
his home.

Lincoln- Herbert "Herb" D. Dennison, 76, of Lincoln
passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at his home.
A Memorial Service for Herb will be held on
Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr.
L.C. Sutton officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until time of
service at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Herbert Dean Dennison was born on November 27, 1937
in Cutler, Illinois the son of Herbert Thomas and
Ava Mae Hart Dennison.
He was united in marriage to Judith Brosamer on May
8, 1983 in Atlanta. She survives. Herb and Judy were
married 30 wonderful years and they renewed their
vows on May 8 2005, with their grandson Jimmy
Loeffler officiating.
Also surviving are his children: Shari (Jason)
Krajewski, Dawn (Bill) Moore both of Atlanta, Lisa
(William) Shepherd of Missouri, Paul Terrell of
Decatur. One brother: Steve Youmg. Seven
grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two
brothers, one sister.

Herb served in the United States Navy.
He retired as a Iron Worker after 47 years of
service. He was a member of the International
Brotherhood of Ironworkers in Terra Haute, Indiana.
Herb loved the outdoors, he liked to fish, go out on
his boat, camp and hunt. In his free time he liked
to play golf, he even taught his son, son in law and
grandson how to play golf. Herb's greatest
achievement was his family, his love for them was
never ending. He will be missed greatly, but he will
live on in our hearts forever. We want to thank God,
for giving us the best husband, dad and grandpa a
family could ever ask for.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's
choice.
