Werth makes IESA sectional champion in junior high wrestling

[March 10, 2014]  MAHOMET — Two Lincoln Junior High wrestling Trojans competed Saturday in the Mahomet-Seymour Sectional championships and are now headed to the state meet in DeKalb

Tyler Werth, 19-4 at 65 pounds, was a sectional champion, finishing the day 3-0 with two pins.

Braiden Tisdale, 27-5 at 90 pounds, went 2-1 and finished third.

This sends both wrestlers on to the state tournament Friday and Saturday.
