Limited space available for Russel Allen Garden Day

[March 11, 2014]  Limited space remains for attendance at the upcoming Russel Allen Garden Day.  The event, sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension Logan County Master Gardeners, will be on March 15 on the campus of Lincoln College. An advance registration fee of only $10 is available until March 8. 

Keynote speaker for the gardening workshop will be Mac Condill, general manager of the "Great Pumpkin Patch" in Arthur. Condill had the privilege of being selected to decorate the North Lawn of the White House, and he has also made several appearances on the Martha Stewart television show. 

Registration the day of the event is 8-8:45 a.m., with presentation sessions running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
