Alison Stone is the February Student of the Month at Illini Central

[March 13, 2014]  MASON CITY — The 1st State Bank of Mason City and Illini Central High School presented Alison Stone with the award for February Student of the Month. For demonstrating outstanding character, Alison receives a Barnes & Noble gift card from 1st State Bank and an iTunes gift card from Illini Central High School faculty.

Alison is the daughter of Cory and Jodi Stone. Her classes this year are Psychology, Career Skills, Dual Credit Biology, Advanced Math, Dual Credit Composition 101 and 102, and Fitness P.E. She is also an office helper.

In addition, Alison keeps busy with a number of extracurricular activities. She is president of FFA and National Honor Society; secretary of Future Career and Community Leaders of America, student council and the senior class; and a member of the pom squad and golf team.

Alison plans to attend Illinois State University, where she will major in social work.
