Woodcocks & Wine
Wednesday, March 19; 6:30 p.m.
Participants must be 21 years old to attend this program.
Woodcocks are ground-nesting birds that exhibit one of the most
delightful courtship flights, just before dawn and at dusk. People
attending the program will learn more about these fascinating game
birds that return to fields, prairies and pastures throughout
central Illinois in mid-March. Then the group will head outside to
(hopefully) spot the woodcocks as they spiral toward the sky and
fall to the ground.
