21, 2014] MOUNT
PULASKI — Chelsea Siembida, daughter of Paul and Linda Siembida of
Mount Pulaski, has been named March Senior-of-the-Month at Mount
Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Academically, Chelsea is one of the top students in the Class of
2014 at Mount Pulaski High School. She has been very involved in
school activities during her time as a student at Mount Pulaski High
School. She participated in Drama Club, Scholastic Bowl, WYSE,
Spanish Club, FCCLA, student council, Art Club and yearbook. She
also played volleyball, was on the Prom Committee and completed
numerous community service projects through student council. She
also won a gold medal at the FCCLA nationals. Chelsea plans to
attend Western Illinois University in the fall to study psychology.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson's Food
Center and Mount Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly award winners receive a
$50 award paid to the college they plan to attend and compete for
the Senior-of-the-Year honor in May.
