Anne and Lee Niepagen
demonstrated container gardening, providing many useful tips on what
is best to grow in container gardens. The breakout session had a
do-it-yourself segment for take-home pansies in a container.
The session was a make-it and
take-it workshop where guests were invited to get down and dirty
playing in the dirt. The group learned about potting soils and
preparing pots for plantings.
The Niepagens are from the
Wendell Niepagan Greenhouses and Garden Center in Bloomington.
