MARCH 18

CIRCUIT BREAKERS 

Schneider Electric is recalling Square D branded, molded case F and K frame circuit breakers sold nationwide from May 2013 to June 2013. The circuit breaker can fail to trip when an overload occurs, posing the risk of fire, burn and electric shock. 

This recall involves Square D brand models FA, FH, FI and FY one-, two- and three-pole circuit breakers rated 15 to 100 amps, and model KI two- and three-pole circuit breakers rated 110 to 250 amps. 

Consumers with uninstalled products will receive a replacement. Installed products will be replaced at no charge to the customer with an allowance of up to $300 per site to cover labor costs.

MARCH 19 

STUFFED TOYS 

Ganz is recalling three styles of Plush Grumpy Cat stuffed animal toys sold nationwide from December 2013 to January 2014. The stuffed animals' eyes can detach, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves an 8-inch Grumpy Cat in laying position, a 5-inch long sitting Grumpy Cat and a 4-inch Grumpy Cat key clip. The recalled toys have batch numbers 86754 or 224861, and model numbers printed on the sewn-in label located near the tail of the cat.  Model numbers can be found at www.recalls.org

BABY TOYS 

Vera Bradley is recalling Vera Bradley Bear Ring Rattles and Bunny Stuffed Toys sold nationwide from September 2012 to January 2014. The pom-pom tail can detach from the body of the bear rattle and the bunny, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves all Vera Bradley Bear Ring Rattles and Bunny stuffed animal toys.  Serial numbers can be found at www.recalls.org

Consumers should return the toys to Vera Bradley for a full refund.

BED CANOPIES 

IKEA is recalling Children's bed canopies sold exclusively at IKEA stores nationwide and in Canada from August 1996 to March 2014. An infant or young child can get entangled at the neck in the canopy's fabric, posing a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves IKEA children's bed canopies. The canopies are made out of mesh fabric and hang from the ceiling onto a child's crib or bed. A complete list can be found at www.recalls.org

Consumers should return the canopies to any IKEA store for a full refund.

WOODEN TOYS 

Minga Fair Trade Imports is recalling Wooden flipping acrobat toys sold nationwide from September 2008 to May 2013. The paint on the wooden flipping acrobat toys contains excessive levels of lead. 

The recalled flipping acrobat toys are made of painted wood and are 8.5 inches tall. The toys consist of two rectangular wooden sticks connected by a wood crosspiece near one end and a coyote, super hero, woodpecker or yellow bird wooden cartoon character suspended by nylon string at the other end. 

Consumers should return the toys to Minga Fair Trade Imports for a full refund or credit towards a replacement product.
