Ruthetta A. Logan, 71, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at
7:20 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln- Ruthetta A. Logan, 71, of Lincoln passed
away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Memorial Medical
Center in Springfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on
Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family
Catholic Church with Rev. Jeffrey Laible
officiating.
A Rosary Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday
prior to the visitation.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home
in Lincoln.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln.
Ruthetta A. Logan was born on July 9, 1942 in
Enfield, Illinois the daughter of George and Anna
Mae Wilson Irvin.
She married Paul Logan on April 13, 1966 in Lincoln.
He survives.
Also surviving are her children: Pamela (Rod)
Bradley of Springfield, Lynn (Punk) O'Donoghue of
Lincoln
Step daughter: Angela (Larry) Ralls of Anna, Ill.,
sons: Paul Logan Jr. of Louisiana, Rickey (Paulette)
Logan of Lincoln, grandson Michael McCullen.
Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great
grandchildren, one great great granddaughter. Two
brothers: William (Bev) Rush of Keenes, Ill., John
(Judy) Rush of Broughton, Il. one sister: Brenda
Voyles of Tremont. Several nieces and nephews also
survive.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Ida Mae
Bachman and her parents.
Ruthetta graduated from Lincoln Community High
School in 1960.
She retired from Lincoln Development Center after 35
years of service as a Food Supervisor.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searching,
spending time with her grandkids and family.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation or
Carroll Catholic School.
