Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[May 13, 2014]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Monday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were lower on Monday.

Rains over the weekend and Friday stocks reports added downward pressure to markets.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 17 to 20 cents lower from 4.69-4.91.

Soybean bids were mostly 15 cents lower from 14.47-14.68.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids mostly 17 cents lower from 4.67-4.93.

Soybean bids were mostly 10 to 12 cents lower from 14.66-14.85.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 16 to 25 cents lower from 4.80-5.01.

Soybean bids were 5 to 8 cents lower from 14.52-14.86.

Wheat bids were 19 to 23 cent lower from 6.81-7.12.
