							Obituary Lacy L. Hall, 
							96, of Elkhart, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Sunday May 
							4, 2014 at the Christian Village Nursing Home in 
							Lincoln. Lacy was born on January 11, 
							1918 in Tyty, Georgia to Emry Talmadge and Ruby Lee 
							Bryant Hall.  He married Irene M. Greer on April 29, 
							1940 in Elkhart.  She survives him. Also surviving are two sons, 
							Alan (Teresa) Hall of Port St. Lucie, FL and Lacy 
							(Sherry) Hall II of Elkhart, seven grandchildren, 
							Amanda Hall, Laura Hall, Sara Hall, Jessica (Sean) 
							Stockman, Jennifer (Todd) Thomson, Megan (J.) Drake 
							and Seth (Rachel) Hall, and 11 great-grandchildren, 
							Lily, Amelia, Isaac, Aubrey, Adam, London, Payton, 
							Nolan, Olson, Isabelle and Addison.  He was preceded 
							in death by his parents, two brothers and two 
							sisters.   | 
                    
					 
							Lacy was a production manager at Sangamo Electric 
							Co. in Springfield and was a master wood worker.  He 
							was a member of Elkhart Christian Church where he 
							served as an elder for many years and was one of the 
							founding trustees for Lincoln Bible Institute which 
							is now Lincoln Christian University.  He served in 
							the U. S. Army, in the 45th (Thunderbird) 
							Division, 157th Infantry Regiment, as a 
							scout, during WWII and was a member of the Elkhart 
							American Legion.   Services for Lacy will be 
							Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Elkhart 
							Christian Church with Mike Drake officiating.  
							Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00 
							p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, 
							Lincoln.  Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery at 
							a later date. Memorials may be given to Elkhart 
							Christian Church or Lincoln Christian Village 
							Nursing Home.
