							Phillip D. “Punk” O’Donoghue, 54, of Lincoln died at 
							8:43 p.m. May 5, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, 
							Springfield. 
							
							Punk was born September 6, 1959 in Lincoln, the son 
							of Thomas Joseph and Agnes Alexander “Ma” O’Donoghue.  
							He was united in marriage to Lynn Logan August 29, 
							1996 in Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln. 
							
							Punk is also survived by his children: Alex 
							O’Donoghue; Brianna (Corey McFall) Dennis of 
							Elkhart; Candice (Tim) Turner of Cornland; 
							 Grandchildren: Clarissa, Xzandria, Chase, Gaige, 
							Raelynn and Race. 
							
							Siblings: Tom (Cyndie) O’Donoghue of Tinley Park; 
							Mike (Mary) O’Donoghue; Denny (Marsha) O’Donoghue; 
							John “Q-Ball” (Gail) O’Donoghue; Ruth (Mike)Young; 
							Cathy “Jinx” (Joe) Gleason; Pat (Judy) O’Donoghue; 
							Dan “Boone” (Marsha) O’Donoghue; Dick (Myretta) 
							O’Donoghue; Tim (Shirley) O’Donoghue, all of Lincoln 
							and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 
							his parents and one nephew: Wes O’Donoghue. | 
                    
					 
							
							Punk worked at Eaton Corp. for 36 years and 
							O’Donoghue Radiator for 30 years.  He was a member 
							of Holy Family Church of Lincoln.  Punk loved 
							driving his race car “84”, the Chicago Bears, 
							Lincoln Demo Derby, NASCAR and working in his 
							garage. He loved his hometown friends of Burtonview.
							 
							
							Services for Punk will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 
							9, 2014 at Holy Family Church of Lincoln with Rev. 
							Jeffrey Laible officiating.  There will be a Rosary 
							at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 prior to the 
							visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. 
							 Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery following the 
							mass on Friday. Memorials may be given in his memory 
							to ALS Worldwide or St. Jude’s Children’s Research.
