ATLANTA - Betty Fosdick, 83, of Atlanta
passed away on Monday , May 12, 2014 at 4:20 p.m. at Symphony of
Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln. Funeral Arrangements are pending at
the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. |
Visitation:

Graveside Services will be held on Friday
2:00 p.m. at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00
p.m. Friday at Atlanta Assembly Church.

Obituary
Betty J. Fosdick, 83, of Atlanta, passed away on
Monday, May 12, 2014 at 4:20 p.m. at Symphony of
Lincoln.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Fosdick will be held on
Friday, May 16, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Cemetery
in Lincoln.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday
afternoon at Atlanta Assembly Church with Pastor
Paul Weber officiating.
Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
Betty Jane Shawgo was born October 27, 1930 in Mason
City, Illinois, the daughter of Claude and Lois Mae
Williams Shawgo. She married Lloyde Fosdick. He
preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by her children: Joanne (Keith)
Schmidt of Lincoln, Cherie (Ron) Baker of Atlanta,
Tywanna (Robert) Beam of Lincoln, Larry Fosdick of
Atlanta, Karen Sue (Bruce) Treakle of Atlanta and
Kelly Fosdick of Florida; 16 grandchildren and 36
great-grandchildren. |
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband;
four sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Fosdick was a member of the Assembly of God
church in Atlanta. She worked for General Electric
in Bloomington for 17 years. She was a creative
person who loved interior decorating. She loved to
travel and went to China as a missionary.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
