            Ten Zion Lutheran School students qualified for 
			participation in the IL History Expo at the Prairie Capital 
			Convention Center in Springfield. Emily Messner, Katie Lynn, Elijah 
			Burton, and Will Messner all received Superior rating awards. Emma 
			Cooper, Kathryn Nobbe, Madelyn Koehler, Emma Ritterbush, Tori 
			Tripplett, and Greyson Rademaker each received an Excellent rating 
			award. | 
        
            | Zion Lutheran History Expo project entries included: 
				
				Elijah Burton -- How did the constitutional 
				issues of the late 19th century and early 20th century affect 
				the political landscape of Chicago and Illinois? 
				Emma Cooper -- How has the Scully family 
				impacted IL? 
				Madelyn Koehler -- How did the Our Lady of the 
				Angels School fire impact the schools of Illinois? 
				Katie Lynn -- How has the First United Methodist 
				Church impacted Logan County?
				Emily Messner -- Why is the U-505 in Chicago, 
				Illinois, and what has been its impact there? 
				Will Messner -- How have the Chiefs impacted 
				Peoria and Central Illinois? 
				Kathryn Nobbe -- How did Eugene D. Funk, Sr. 
				improve corn agriculture?
				Greyson Rademaker -- How did Bethel Church help 
				shape the Emden Community?
				Emma Ritterbush -- What impact has State Bank of 
				Lincoln had on Lincoln, Illinois? 
				Tori Tripplett -- How did Cahokia Mounds impact 
				on the early days of the people of Illinois?  One hundred and seventy-two schools from around 
			Illinois participated in this year’s History Expo.
