LINCOLN
- “Under the Sea” has been chosen as the theme for the 5th
Annual Princess Tea, which will be held on Saturday, June 7, in the
Fellowship Center of Lincoln Christian Church. The Princess Tea is a
very special event for young ladies from ages 3 to 12 and their
adult “guests” (mothers, grandmothers, aunts, special friends,
etc.). Each Princess must be accompanied by at least one adult
guest. |
The Princess Tea will feature tea tables decorated and hosted by
women of the community. Young ladies are invited to come dressed in
their Sunday best or wearing princess attire. The event will include
special foods and beverages, entertainment, and decorations in
keeping with the theme. A photo op will also be available so guests
are invited to bring their cameras.
Julie King, originator of the event, sees the Princess Tea as a
special bonding time between young ladies and their adult guests,
providing a time when young ladies will feel as “special” as they
were intended to be and giving them a glimpse of participating in
social events.
Hours of “Under the Sea” will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are just $10.00 each and are available in the church office
during regular office hours through Wednesday, June 4. Seating is
limited. Anyone having questions about the Tea may contact Julie
King, at 314-9413.
