LINCOLN - Summer is almost here and
that means wild times at the Lincoln Public Library with the “Paws
to Read!” Summer Reading Program. Children can sign up to read for
cool prizes, attend engaging story times and art/craft classes and
participate in our exciting Thursday morning events with visiting
performers. All events are free, although advance registration is
required for accurate planning.

Registration for children ages 6 months through 12
years will be June 2 through June 7. If you can’t sign up then, come
in as soon as possible to get in on the fun! All reading logs are
due July 26 at the conclusion of the program, and those that have
reached their goal and turned in their logs by that time will be
eligible for a free t-shirt.
The Teen Summer Reading Program will run June 9 – July 19 with
special prize drawings each week, including a grand prize drawing at
the close of the program. Our grand prize winner will enjoy a free
bowling party from Logan Lanes. The library will also be hosting a
“Pimp Your Paws!” Pizza Party for teens on June 27 at 6:00PM. Get
the details and register for this event when you come in to pick up
your first reading log.
