Weybright was a standout defender and contributor for the
Timberwolves. Okaw Valley Girl’s Basketball Head Coach, Don
Gardner heaped praise on Weybright, describing his trust in her
as a clutch player, “With the game on the line, I would put the
ball in Abigail’s hands every time. Whether she’s dishing out
assists, grabbing rebounds, or stealing opponent’s passes,
there’s not much she can’t do.”
LCU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Donnie Bowman, was also
effusive in his praise for Weybright, “She is strong, works
hard, and has come through for her team in the past. I think
she’ll make a great addition to our squad and I am looking
forward to seeing what she will bring to the Red Lions.”
