Millikin University announces plan to assist current students at Benedictine

[November 03, 2014]  DECATUR - Millikin University has announced a plan to help students at Benedictine University at Springfield, who are intending to transfer, make a seamless transition from Benedictine to Millikin. Benedictine announced on Oct. 23 that educational programs for traditional undergraduate students at the Springfield branch campus would end on May 31, 2015.

Millikin is offering the following guaranteed opportunities. Students can expect the process of transferring to Millikin's campus to be as affordable as it is easy.

Guaranteed Admission

Millikin guarantees the admission of all Benedictine-Springfield undergraduate students who are in good academic standing.

Guaranteed Merit Scholarship plus $2,500

In addition to a Millikin Merit Scholarship (up to $13,000), Millikin is offering a $2,500 scholarship to all Benedictine-Springfield students to help cover the cost difference between Millikin and Benedictine-Springfield.
 


Guaranteed Credit Transfer

Millikin will give credit for all 100-level + courses completed with a 'C' or better at Benedictine-Springfield.

Millikin will be visiting the Benedictine-Springfield campus to answer any questions students have about transferring to Millikin. Millikin will be visiting the Benedictine-Springfield campus on Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014.
