							ATLANTA -- Jack Mayberry, 84, of Atlanta died 
							Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 11:30 p.m. at 
							Heartland Health Care in Normal.
 Funeral services for Mr. Mayberry will be on Monday, 
							Nov. 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral 
							Home in Atlanta. Mr. Andy Glass will officiate.
 
 Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on 
							Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
 
 Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.
 
 Leo Jackson Mayberry was born July 30, 1930 in 
							Eminence Township, rural Atlanta, to Roy and Edith 
							McCrea Mayberry. He married Geneva Gordon on Nov. 3, 
							1950, in McLean. She preceded him in death on July 
							6, 2007.
 
 Surviving Mr. Mayberry are his children: Judy 
							(Dennis) Colaw, Ron (Mary) Mayberry, Diann (Dean) 
							Langley and Mike (Thao) Mayberry, all of Atlanta; 
							grandchildren: Kristie Israel, Scott Colaw, Stacey 
							Pourchot, Brian Mayberry, Rodney Langley, Michele 
							Brown, Chase Mayberry and Emily Mayberry, Brett 
							Michalowski, Mandy Cordray, Marcia Cook, and Sarah 
							Cook; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Trevor, Zach, 
							Vince, Blaine, Jacob, Wes, Allyxandrea, Cohnor, 
							Avarie, Dylan, Laurynn, Emmett and William, Alex, 
							Cameron, Lyndsay, Emma, Hannah and Ben; and one 
							great-great-grandchild: Laynie.

							Jack was preceded in death by brothers: Jim, Bob and 
							William and sisters: Helen and Ruth.
 Jack was a graduate of Atlanta High School. He 
							retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of 
							employment and was a member of UAW #974. Jack had 
							served on the Atlanta Township Board and city 
							planning commission. Following his retirement, Jack 
							worked part-time for road commissioners, Melvin 
							Chaudoin contracting, Tommy Young HG&N and Joel 
							Farms.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad or 
							Atlanta Fire Department.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Atlanta.
