a.m. Tuesday November 11, 2014 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA
Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.

Obituary
Lewis Dean “Butch” Scroggin, 69, passed away at 5:37
a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Richard L.
Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN.
Butch was born on June 10, 1945 in Lincoln, son of
Harold and Helen Bertrang Scroggin. He is survived
by his brother: Terrance Scroggin of Woodland Hills,
CA., and his caregiver: Thomas McCurry III of Mount
Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his parents and
his brother: Michael.
Butch served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the
Vietnam War. He later worked in the community as a
construction worker.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside
service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday,
November 21, 2014, at Steenbergen Cemetery with full
military rites being accorded by the Mount Pulaski
American Legion Post # 447. Services are entrusted
to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount
Pulaski.
