Denial
of the obvious

The
United States House of Representatives hosted Imam Hamad Ahmad
Chebli from the Islamic Society of Central Jersey to open the
session with his prayer. He was introduced to the House by the
Speaker as the Chaplain from the Society of Central Jersey. He said,
in part, "Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.... In the name
of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful. Praise Allah the
cherisher, the sustainer of the world. Thee do we worship and the
name we seek...." |
This was not the first time the House of Representatives leadership
has invited a leader of the Muslim group to open the session. On
March 2, 2010 a Muslim Chaplain was invited to deliver the opening
prayer in the U.S. House of Representatives. Abdullah Antepli a
Chaplain at Duke University in North Carolina was invited as the
guest Chaplain at the invitation of David Price, Democrat House
Representative at North Carolina. Chaplain Antepli, described by a
Duke University spokesperson, focus his work at Duke University on
religious leadership for the University's Muslim community. He also
engages in the work of pastoral care and counseling for people
regardless of their religious affiliation.
Meanwhile, on another field the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant
(ISIL or ISIS) has carried out another beheading being verified in a
video over this past weekend. A former Army Ranger, Peter Kassig,
was identified as yet another of the five Westerners, three of whom
were Americans, who has been beheaded by the radical Islamic group.
Using the same name of Allah the Imams have used in the House of
Representatives, to seek his will, the Islamic State jihadist who
enacted the beheading of Peter Kassig stated, "With Allah's
permission we will break this final and last crusade...and the
Islamic State will soon...begin to slaughter your people on your
streets."
Even in the face of such Islamic terrorist activities such as
beheadings, the President continues to fail to acknowledge the
terrorists as Islamic. His response to the beheading: "ISIL's
actions represent no faith, least of all the Muslim faith...." When
these jihadists record their videos and invoke the name of their
god, Allah, and they call themselves "Islamic" and completely
identify themselves with the Muslim faith, it seems odd the
President continues to protect them by failing to call them what
they themselves say they are. Failing to identify an enemy for who
and what they really are seems counterproductive in the attempt to
stop their terroristic actions.

This type of political correctness that is running rampant in
America can accomplish very little more than strengthen the
teachings of radicalism among the Islamic jihadists. They are
already recruiting many from the Western nations, including the
United States. As these Imams and other leaders are given a boost by
allowing them to spin their teachings established on eliminating
infidels from existence, which includes anyone who doesn't agree
with them, terrorist activities will surely increase rather than be
brought under control. Each day we are hearing of more radical
Islamic voices being raised against the Constitutional rule of law.
We are hearing more and more about schools that are yielding to the
radical voices of the teachings of Islam by dismissing long-held
traditions based on Christian values. There are repeated calls for
Islamic groups in America to elevate Sharia law over the
Constitutional law of American jurisprudence. As our political
structure softens and gives way to the demands of the loudest voices
in Islamic centers in America, the foundation of the Constitutional
law will continue to crumble under the weight of those claiming to
be insulted by Christian values.
