[November 23, 2014]  SPRINGFIELD - Darlene Houghton Fulk, 75, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, November 1,2014 at her home.

Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Visitation: Monday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Service: 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor John Horner officiating.

Obituary

Darlene Houghton Fulk, 75, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her home.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor John Horner officiating.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Mountjoy Cemetery in rural Atlanta.

Darlene is survived by two brothers: John (Kristina) Houghton of St. Louis and Daryl (Ann) Houghton of MIllsboro, Del.; two nieces: Lori and Kelly; and one nephew: Robert.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Darlene Houghton was born on August 18, 1939, in Knob Noster, Missouri, the daughter of Delmar and Opal McMurry Houghton.

Darlene graduated from Atlanta High School. She was a beautician for many years. and then worked for the State of Illinois for 8 years.

Memorial donations may be made to American cancer Society.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
