Kaya Albert is the LTEC November Student-of-the-month

[November 25, 2014]  LINCOLN - Kaya Albert, daughter of Tom & Cathy Albert, was named the November Student of the Month for the Culinary Arts Program at Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Kaya is a senior at Lincoln Community High School. Ms. Brenda Silano, instructor, selected Kaya for her talent & great attitude.

Ms. Silano says Kaya has a real talent when it comes to Culinary Arts. “It is obvious that Kaya enjoys cooking and takes pride in her work”. Ms. Silano goes on to say that Kaya is very creative and pays close attention to accuracy when following a recipe. “Kaya is cooperative, a team player and helps others when needed.”

Kaya’s future plans are to go to a four year college and study photography.

Kaya received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and honored her at a noon luncheon.
