Obituary
Anne Lee Newcomb, 71, of McLean, passed away at
12:01 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014, at her
daughter's home in Atlanta.
Funeral Services for Anne will be held on Friday,
November 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home in Atlanta. Mr. Maurice Stribling will
officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28,
2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the
funeral home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be in
McLean Cemetery at a later date.
Ann Lee Hanes, was born July 12, 1943, the daughter
of Donal and Mary Hoblit Hanes.
Surviving Anne are her children: Jacki (Mike) Pavlik
of Atlanta and Becki Warren of Waltham, Mass.; three
grandchildren: Heather Pavlik and Garrett and Rylie
Warren.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents.

Anne was a graduate of McLean High School. She
enjoyed gardening and decorating for the holidays,
especially Christmas, at her home, Maple Hurst. She
loved to cook and won several cooking contests and
beef cookoff contests. She had worked for the
Illinois Elementary School Association as a
Secretary.
Memorials may be made to Atlanta Rescue Squad, Logan
County Humane Society or Advocate Home Health
Services in Normal.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
