 The first contest was against Morton Blessed Sacrament, in which
the Wolverines prevailed by a score of 44-22.
Leah Schneider led all scorers with 30 points as well as 19
rebounds. She also led her team with 6 steals. Madelyn Koehler
contributed with 8 points and 5 steals. Emily Paulus and Madison
Orebaugh also worked the boards both pulling down 9 rebounds.
With the win the Lady Wolverines were set to play in the
Championship game against #1 seeded Lexington.
 The Lady Wolverines opened up the night a bit sluggish as they found
themselves down 13-1 after the 1st quarter. The Lady Wolverines
battled through the second quarter and at half were still down 17-9.
After halftime the Lady Wolverines found the motivation they needed
and battled back to end the game with a 33-28 WIN.

Leah Schneider led all scorers with 18 points as Madelyn Koehler
provided 10. Madison Orebaugh stepped to the line in the crucial
part of the game and hit 3 out of 4 free throws to seal the win.
With the win the Lady Wolverines improved their record to 19-0 and
will play for the Sectional Championship next Wednesday night at
Normal Epiphany at 6:30.
