The Oasis’ new building had been a restaurant. Many more
handicapped parking places are needed closer to the front doors of
the facility. A walking path is also planned for the perimeter of
the parking lot.
“We are pleased that Archer Midland Company will partner with the
Oasis Senior to help with our parking lot maintenance. Our Seniors
appreciate the large parking area and truly appreciate the Archer
Midland Company for helping with this project,” said Dom Dalpoas
from Senior Citizens of Logan County, Inc.
The Oasis was established 30 years ago. Its mission is to provide a
place where senior citizens of Logan County, can come together for
services and activities which enhance their dignity, support
independence and encourage involvement in and with their community.
Over one thousand people are Oasis members.
