OCTOBER 2 - CHILDREN'S SANDALS    

Toys R Us is recalling Koala children’s sandals with butterfly wings sold nationwide from February 2014 to September 2014. The butterfly wings on the children’s sandals can rip and detach, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves Koala Baby girl’s plastic sandals with butterfly wings attached to the toes with rhinestones and hard or soft cork-type soles. White soft-soled sandals have model number GNL 43633BR and item number 795267 printed on a tag sewn into the sandal’s ankle strap. White hard-soled sandals have model number GNL 43706BR and item number 795313. Combination pink, gold and blue soft-soled sandals have model number GNL 43634BR and item number 795275. Combination pink, gold and blue hard-soled sandals have GNM 41761BR and item number 845795. 

Consumers should return the sandals to any Toys R Us or Babies R Us for a full refund.

WOMEN'S SCARVES 

Zazou Scarves is recalling women’s silk scarves sold nationwide from August 2012 to August 2014. The scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standard for wearing apparel and pose a risk of burn injury. 

This recall involves Zazou women’s sheer 100% silk scarves.  Zazou Luxe is printed on a tag sewn into the side seam of the scarf. 

Consumers should contact Zazou Scarves at (800) 472-2783 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, online at www.zazou.com to return them for a full refund. More info at www.recalls.org.

SEPTEMBER 30 - BOYS' HOODIES 

Pure Baby Organics is recalling Boy’s Zipper Hooded Hoodie sold nationwide from January 2014 to August 2014. The sweaters have a drawstring around the neck area which poses a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves a Pure Baby Organic boy’s hoodie made of 100% cotton. It comes in solid gray with a red drawstring that is inside the lining of the hood that surrounds the face. A label with style number PB1613.B12 is sewn into an inside side seam of the garment under the washing instruction label. 

Consumers can remove the drawstring from the garment to eliminate the hazard or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

HOODED SWEATSHIRTS 

Active Apparel is recalling Boys Zipper Hooded Sweatshirts sold nationwide from June 2014 to August 2014. The sweatshirts have drawstrings around the neck area which pose a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves boys Fission zipper hooded sweatshirts made of 100% cotton. On the label, it states Karachi Pakistan, Active Apparel, has the manufacture date “MAY, 2014,” and batch number 61271,159. 

Consumers can remove the drawstring from the sweatshirt to eliminate the hazard or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund and a $10 gift card.

FUEL CURB HOSE 

Franklin Fueling Systems is recalling Hardwall Fuel Curb Hose sold nationwide from March 2014 to July 2014. The crimp on the fuel hose can loosen causing fuel to leak, posing a fire and explosion hazard. 

The FLEX-ING™ FLEX-ON hardwall curb hose is 1 inch in diameter ranging in lengths from 9 inches to 100 feet. A date code of M1014 through M3014 in WWYY format, is on the fitting with model numbers starting with FLHFR3XX XXX or FLXHW3XX XXX.

CHILDREN'S SNEAKERS             

Trimfoot is recalling Children's soft-soled shoes sold exclusively at Macy's stores nationwide from February 2014 to August 2014. A small metal eyelet can detach from the inside of the sneaker, posing a choking hazard. 

The recall involves First Impressions high-top, soft-soled sneakers for infants that are crawling or standing.  Style number 42090 is on a cloth tag inside of shoe.
