							Mildred L. “Midge” Woodard Brown, 90, passed away at 
							4:30 p.m. October 6, 2014 at St. Clara’s Manor, 
							Lincoln.
 Midge was born July 6, 1924 in Ewing, the daughter 
							of Noah and Katie Miller Boyd. She married Charles 
							L. Woodard in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in 
							death in April 22, 1977. She married Russell W. 
							Brown August 17, 2002 and he preceded her in death 
							November 14, 2003. Seven brothers and one sister 
							preceded her in death. Midge is the last of her 
							immediate family.
 
 Midge is survived by one daughter: Milinda L. (Al) 
							Wolf of Lincoln; Thomas C. (Pat) Woodard of 
							Bloomington; grandchildren: Kim (Gary) Duden of 
							Auburn, GA; Cathy (Jeremy) Crist of Bloomington; 
							Randy Wolf of Beason; Thom (Beth) Woodard of 
							Bloomington; Cherrilyn Sutton of Bloomington; and 
							seven great grandchildren and one great great 
							grandchild. One grandson and one great grandson also 
							preceded her in death.

							Midge was a homemaker and also worked 25 years as a 
							CNA at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. She was a 
							member of Lincoln Hill Free Methodist Church.
 Services for Midge will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 
							October 9, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral 
							Home, Lincoln with Steven Blaum officiating. 
							Visitation will be one hour (1:00-2:00p.m) prior to 
							the service at the funeral home. Burial will be Zion 
							Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials may be given to 
							Memorial Home Hospice or St. Clara’s Manor.
