			MI - Daniel Russell Sachs, 63 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, 
			Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 6, 2014. |

							Obituary 
							Daniel Russell Sachs, 63 years, a lifelong resident 
							of Monroe, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on 
							Monday, October 6, 2014.
 Born July 14, 1951 in Monroe, Dan was the son of the 
							late Russell C. and Jean M. (Hedrick) Sachs. Dan was 
							a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was 
							baptized and confirmed. He was a 1969 graduate of 
							Monroe High School.
 
 Dan worked for Ford Motor Company at the Monroe 
							plant for 17 years. He retired in 1987.
 
 Dan enjoyed playing softball, bowling and watching 
							all types of sporting events, especially football 
							and baseball.
 
 Dan is survived by his loving son: Shawn R. (Kalenna) 
							Sachs of Port Arthur, TX, a brother: Dennis G. 
							(Kathy) Sachs of Monroe, and three sisters: Dawn 
							(Mike) Musko of Monroe, Renee’ (Rod) Grodi of Erie, 
							MI and Yvonne (Dennis) Bezeau of Monroe.
 
 Dan was preceded in death by his father: Russell and 
							his mother and step father: Jean and Floyd Pete, Jr.
 
 Dan’s family will greet friends on Friday, October 
							10, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the 
							Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. 
							Monroe, Michigan 48161.
 
 In keeping with Dan’s wishes cremation has taken 
							place and he will be interred at St. Joseph Cemetery 
							in Monroe at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 
							2014.
