The “Spooktacular Evening” is suitable for all ages and
includes historical characters “haunting” the exhibit journeys,
special eerie lighting and music, and spooky storytelling in
Union Theater. There’s also a kids’ costume contest with prizes,
a scavenger hunt, crafts and games, and a special showing of
“Ghosts of the Library.” Refreshments will be provided, and the
Museum’s Gift Shop will be open during the evening.
The cost is $10 per family, and tickets must be purchased by
Oct. 16 by calling (217) 558-8934 or visiting

Children must be accompanied by adults, and adults in costume
are asked to refrain from wearing masks or hoods.
