[October 21, 2014]  LINCOLN - Blue Room, Logan County Safety Complex August 4, 2014

Present: Gene Rohlfs; Rick Aylesworth; David Blankenship; Bob Farmer; Andy Meister; Chuck Ruben
Absent: None
Guests: Curt Fox; Vic Martinek; Sam Evans

Mr. Rohlfs called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Ruben, to approve the minutes from the July 7, 2014 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business

Tree Project update: Nothing to report at this time.

Fuel Farm Project Update: Mr. Rohlfs signed the Engineering agreement on July 18 with Hanson Engineering.
 


Rotary Broom Unit: Mr. Rohlfs reported the Rotary Broom Unit was received and in good working order.

New Business

Courtesy Car: Mr. Rohlfs reported when Sheriff Department gets new cars, Mr. Rohlfs might be able to receive a car from sheriff department. Mr. Rohlfs would like to keep the van as a backup. Mr. Ruben will put $3,000 in 2015 budget.

Albion Radio Contract (NDB): A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Aylesworth, to continue with Albion Radio Contract for $170 a month. Motion passed.

Airport Report: Mr. Rohlfs reported 1,624 gallons of fuel were sold in July. Mr. Rohlfs reported the yellow truck is having problems. Mr. Rohlfs will talk to Graue, Inc about a new/used truck. Nothing further to report.

HIF Report: Nothing to report.

Farm Report: Mr. Rohlfs reported recent levee work resulted in saving 30 acres from flooding this spring. Dennis Ramlow told Mr. Rohlfs 60 acres need lime this year. Nothing further to report.

Budget Review: No concerns.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Meister, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Ruben, to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:36 p.m.
