							Willard F. Remmert, 93, of Mount Pulaski died at 
							1:55 a.m. Monday October 13, 2014 at Vonderlieth 
							Living Center. 
 Mr. Remmert was born on May 3, 1921 in St. Peter, IL 
							to Henry and Adalia Knauer Remmert. He married Marie 
							Louise DeMaertelaere on June 11, 1946 in Ghent, 
							Belgium. She preceded him in death on August29, 
							2012.
 
 Surviving are one son Leonard (Rita) Remmert of 
							Lincoln, two daughters, Debra (Walter) Maus of 
							Chestnut and Linda (Robert) Faith of Decatur, six 
							grandchildren, Randall (Lynne) Maus, Michael 
							(Theresa) Maus, Heather Maus, Jeremy (Stephanie) 
							McCain, Katrina (Beau) Bundy, Chad (Sandee) Remmert, 
							two step grandchildren, Rob Faith and Melissa (Mike) 
							Johnson, ten great-grandchildren, Haley, Emily, 
							Lacey, Logan, Justin, Alexis, Addison, Caleb, 
							Gabrielle and Issac, three step-great grandchildren 
							Logan, Justin, and Jayson and one great-great 
							granddaughter Tinley Louise.
 
 Willard was a devoted member of the Mount Pulaski 
							Zion Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of both 
							the Henderson, NV VFW post #3848 and the Mount 
							Pulaski American Legion Post #447. He retired as the 
							Mount Pulaski Street Commissioner.
 
 Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 
							18, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Mount 
							Pulaski with Rev. Bruce Lakamp officiating. 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski is handling the arrangements. Burial will be 
							at Steenbergen Cemetery, Mount Pulaski where full 
							military rites will be accorded. Memorials may be 
							made to the family of Willard Remmert.
