Obituary
Kenneth G. Dierker,86, passed
away at 2:00 p.m. on October 20, 2014 at Vonderlieth
Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
Kenneth was born on April 22,
1928 in Chestnut; son of Henry and Hilma
Schaffenacker Dierker. He married Marlene Demlo on
February 5, 1950 in Decatur, IL; she preceded him in
death on August 22, 2005.
Surviving are his children:
Debbie (Dan) Aughenbaugh of Decatur and Danny
(Melissa) Dierker of Chestnut; one sister: Dorothy
Schaffer of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death
by his parents, son Donald, 5 brothers and sisters,
and grandson Josh. |
Kenneth was a member of the Chestnut School Board,
Aetna Township Trustee, and was on Laenna Cemetery
Board.
Graveside services for Kenneth
will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 23, 2014 at
Laenna Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hohm officiating.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given
to Chestnut Fire Department.
Services are entrusted with
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Mount Pulaski.
