Turner was selected amongst the 102 county clerks and recorders
as their Clerk and Recorder of the Year. The prestigious award is
given to a clerk and or recorder that demonstrates impeccable
leadership in the areas of association education, legislative
direction, and mentoring.
About the award Turner commented, "I am humbled to receive this
award from my peers. The office of County Clerk and recorder has
grown greatly with new laws and responsibilities in the past decade.
The requirements on the office are overwhelming, and we meet those
requirements with continuing education and a greater knowledge base
that only fellow clerks and recorders can offer."
