Obituary
Daniel L. Tungate, 67, of Lincoln, passed away
Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home.
Daniel was born January 21, 1947 in Martinville,
IN., the son of the late Milburn Tungate Sr. and
Hallie Tungate.
He is survived by: two children, Brenda Lee Garcia
and Danny Lee Tungate of Shawnee, OK; five sisters,
Mary Lou (JT) Noe of Bradsfordville, KY., Debbie
(Gary) Brandt of Lincoln, IL., Ann (Mitch) Rohlfs of
Lincoln, IL., Marsha (Robert) Cisco of Lincoln, IL.,
and Susie Tungate of Shawnee, OK.; four brothers,
Jr. (Diane) Tungate, Randal (Fawn) Tungate and Glen
Tungate all of Lincoln, IL., and Hoagie Tungate of
Lebanon, KY; four grandchildren, Tyler and Emily
Garcia and Brendan and Kaydan Tungate all of
Shawnee, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three
brothers, James, Robert, and Sandy Tungate.
Daniel worked at the Lincoln Bottle Factory then
later at Georgia Pacific Mill in Crossett, AR. |
Daniel enjoyed the outdoors and being around family
and friends. He loved his dog Toy.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be
no services at this time. Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
