Obituary
Duma Lee Cowley, 90, of Lincoln passed away
September 1, 2014 at St. Clara's Manor.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014
from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at
1:00 PM Thursday also at the funeral home with Tim
Searby officiating. Burial will follow in New Union
Cemetery, Lincoln.
Duma was born September 30, 1923 in Flint Springs,
KY., the daughter of Jake and Lillian May (Butler)
Bradley. She married Burnell Cassady in 1948. He
preceded her in death in 1967. She later married
Willard Wayne Cowley in 1971. He preceded her in
death in 2013.
Surviving are her daughter in law Vickie Cassady
Dempsey; her grandsons Steven Cassady, Dustin (wife
Brenna) Cassady, and Aaron Cassady; great
grandchildren Colton Cassady, Carson Cassady, Camdon
Cassady, and Cayson Cassady.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Burnell Cassady, her husband Willard Wayne
Cassady, her son Spencer Cassady, 1 brother and 3
sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to
the Lincoln Church of Christ and will be accepted at
the funeral home.
