We are now engaged in national and world-wide discussions about groups such as Hamas, Al Qaeda, ISIS and ISIL because they are fighting a terrorist war with peace-loving people in the Middle East, Northern Africa and other parts of the world. The sole aim of those groups stated from their own leaders and charters of existence cry out for the total destruction of the Israeli nation and all Jewish people, as well as the "Great Satan" in the Western world. The British are afraid of her many citizens who are fighting with ISIS in Syria and Iraq beheading innocent women and children, Christians and anyone who disagrees with their religion, believing since they have passports they will infiltrate back into the British population and carry out their jihad against humanity.

[to top of second column]

That world-wide debate has risen to the point of planning a war to stop that group of people who are killing indiscriminately those who will not denounce their faith and follow the terrorist group. This war will likely take many thousands of lives from people who live in countries all over the world. Radicalism has made its way to the forefront of people's thinking in almost every country's heads of state to try to protect themselves from the radical terrorist activities of these jihadist groups. Yet we continue to hold the belief that those groups represent a "peaceful" coexistence with their neighbors.

So, even in the face of these facts many are being forced to look the other way through the efforts of "Political Correctness" to quit considering these facts and insist the Muslim religion is a "religion of peace." Terms like "work-place violence" or "uprising" or "self-determination" are euphemistic terms intended to turn people's thinking away from the actual violence and total intolerance toward a set of terms and thinking that these groups are simply "misunderstood" or are fighting for their personal freedoms simply because they have been victimized by Western Christian thoughts and practices.

When a reasonably prudent person reads this list of terrorist acts purportedly being carried out by a group who wants to be called "peaceful" and loving, one has to wonder if the term peaceful carries a consistent meaning among all peoples. Pit bull dogs have a reputation of biting people and causing great pain and destruction when they do. It is not fair to label all pit bull dogs as vicious and dangerous, but when you read one account after another where a pit bull dog has bitten a child or other person a reputation begins to form. When any group engages in violent, destructive or terrorist behavior time after time while shouting to the world their claim of responsibility seemingly very proud of the fact, it is not a far leap to associate that group with the terror and destruction of which it seems so proud. That is exacerbated by others in the group who are less radical refraining from denouncing the radicalism of the group that claims terrorism as a way of life and a mark of achievement. When the group as a whole begins to police and stand down those whose life-style is so dangerous and radical, and maintain that posture for an extended period of time with alternative, peaceful behaviors, then people will begin to rebuild a trust for members of that group.

Just to plug in my own two cents, the Oklahoma City bombers were not muslims.
