[September 10, 2014]  Sept 9 (The Sports Xchange) - Authorities in New Jersey did not turn over requested video footage from Revel Hotel and Casino despite requests for all evidence in the Ray Rice case from the NFL, the league said Tuesday.

"We spoke to members of the New Jersey State Police and reached out multiple times to the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County prosecutor's office. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office saw it until yesterday," the NFL said in a statement Tuesday.

TMZ released raw security video of the domestic battery incident that took place Feb. 15 at the casino in Atlantic City.

Rice, 27, had his contract terminated by the Ravens and the NFL suspended him indefinitely. Previously the league issued a two-game suspension and fined the three-time Pro Bowler the equivalent of three game checks, sparking backlash.

DeVito and three-time Pro Bowl inside linebacker Derrick Johnson went down with season-ending injuries in the opening-week loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

"I'm comfortable with my reputation is gonna take shots throughout this process, but my character is, I will not punish somebody until we see evidence that it should be done or before an entire organization, an entire legal police investigation shows us something," York said.
