- To show thanks for their service in local communities, McDonald’s®
Restaurants of Central Illinois will offer local public safety officers a
free small McCafé Smoothie from September 8-12. |
“Smoothies for Service” will reward the
dedication and hard work of local police officers, fire fighters and
EMS workers in observance of the National Day of Service and
Remembrance on September 11. All public safety officers will receive
a free small McCafé Smoothie at all participating McDonald’s
Restaurants of Central Illinois. For a complete listing of stores in

“Our public safety offers provide a much needed and greatly
appreciated service to our communities,” said Jack Millan local
McDonald’s owner-operator and member of the Central Illinois Co-Op.
“We think these police officers, fire fighters and EMS workers
deserve a special treat to show our appreciation for their
dedication to our community throughout the year.”
From September 8-12 public safety officers can
visit their local McDonald’s restaurant, show their state-issued
identification card, and receive a free small McCafé Smoothie in the
flavor of their choice.
