Elizabeth Allen is the Mount Pulaski High School Senior-of-the-month for September

[September 20, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI - Elizabeth Allen, daughter of Ralph and Lori Allen of Mount Pulaski, has been named September Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School.

She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Academically, Elizabeth is one of the top students in the Class of 2015 at Mount Pulaski High School. Elizabeth is very active in school and in the community. She is chapter vice president for FFA, she is on student council, National Honor Society member, and also participates in Spanish club, WYSE, Drama club, Science Olympiad, and is the Libero for the Mt. Pulaski Volleyball team. In the community Elizabeth is a member of the youth group worship team, church workshop team, and participates in group workcamp.

Elizabeth plans on attending a four year university where she can pursue her interest in science.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food Center and Mt. Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend and compete for the Senior-of-the-Year honor in May.
