[April 02, 2015]  Reel in the date Friday, April 3rd from 9 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. for the Menard County Soil and Water Conservation District "Ponds, Lakes and Rivers" information day at the New Salem Park, Route 97 East Entrance, Sangamon River Picnic Shelter.

Featured speakers will be Illinois River Biological Station Katie Bradshaw, Senior Fisheries Technician speaking on "River Fish" and Illinois Department of Natural Resources Nerissa McClelland, Fisheries Biologist speaking on "Pond and Lake Management".
