			Houston Astros 5-1.

Astros shortstop Jed Lowrie spoiled the Indians' no-hit bid with a
one-out solo home run in the ninth inning off left-hander Nick
Hagadone. Bauer, left-hander Kyle Crockett and righty Scott Atchison
held the Astros hitless through eight innings.

Bauer (1-0) posted a career-high 11 strikeouts but also walked five
batters, a factor in the 111 pitches he threw by the close of the

			Blue Jays 6, Yankees 3

took a 5-1 lead into the sixth but allowed Rodriguez's first home
