Dinner at the Palms Grill on April 11 features a
discussion with celebrated author Gary W. Moore whose book Playing
with the Enemy has become a popular favorite. The book tells the
story of Moore’s father, an Illinois farm boy who drew the attention
			of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
When Gene’s baseball career was interrupted by Pearl Harbor, he
enlisted to play baseball on the U.S. Navy team. When he and his
teammates were sent on a top secret mission, his life—and his
			baseball career—were changed forever.
Join the conversation to find out what happened! Reservations are
required and can be made by calling 217-648-5077. Dinner starts at
5:00 p.m., with the program to follow. Sponsored by A-Team.
