			 Lofaro
visited LCU previously in 2011 and 2012. Her message is a wonderful
blend of plainspoken truth, common sense practicality and disarming
humor. Drawing from the context of real life, she deftly handles the
Word of God and steadily directs her audiences to consider what
concerns them in light of God’s timeless truths. Using her trademark
quick wit and convincing demeanor, she airs Biblical principles with
life’s deeper questions. The result is an audience who willingly
joins Ellie in the journey toward better understanding and applying
God’s grace and truth to their lives.

			 Pillar
tackled uncharted waters in the world of ministry with her latest
book, Untangled, and her live event, "The Clothesline." Untangled is
said to be the most honest book ever written by a female author,
many times over. Pillar survived the common ravages of alcoholic
parents. Later, God taught her how to lean on Him to function free
from the damages of it. Pillar says, “We are all damaged in some
way. As a child, God met me under the bed where I hid to escape the
madness of my home-life and now He meets me on stage, as I hang up
my former beliefs on The Clothesline for all to see. I think my
stories usher in courage for attendees to face their stories.”

The annual event at LCU’s Earl C Hargrove Chapel Auditorium is an
opportunity for Christian women from Illinois and neighboring states
to be inspired and renewed by world-class speakers and each other.
This year’s event will also have an interpreter for the deaf
present. Registration is required and includes all four conference
sessions and lunch. Registrations received by April 22 are $35 per
person and $40 per person thereafter.
