			11, 2015 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria with his family

							Kurt E. Oltmanns, 64, of Hartsburg, passed away 
							Saturday, April 11, 2015 at OSF St Francis Medical 
							Center in Peoria with his family by his side. 
							 
							Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Noon on 
							Friday, April 17, 2015 at Hartsburg United Methodist 
							Church. Funeral services will follow at Noon with 
							Pastor Tami Werschey-Kessinger officiating. 
							Cremation rites will then be accorded. There will be 
							no burial at this time. Holland Barry & Bennett 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with his 
							care.  
							 
							Kurt was born September 30, 1950 in Lincoln, the 
							son of Robert Obbo and Dorothy Emma (Kaesebier) 
							Oltmanns. He married Ethel Leslie on September 27, 
							1980 in Hartsburg, IL. 
							 
							He was a member of Hartsburg United Methodist 
							Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was an 
							avid St Louis Cardinal's Fan. Kurt was a loving and 
							giving man. He was a foster parent for several 
							years. Even in death Kurt gave, he was an organ and 
							tissue donor through Gift of Hope.  | 
							
							 
  
							Surviving are his wife Ethel Oltmanns of Hartsburg; 
							his children Jerry David Oltmanns of Chicago and 
							Wendy Oltmanns Zurkammer of Lincoln; his 
							grandchildren Tarel Quint Stancle, Rashaad Kurtis 
							Stancle, Corina Sue Zurkammer, and Jordyn Alexandria 
							Diaz Oltmanns; and his brother Dennis Jacob Oltmanns 
							of Seattle, WA. 
							 
							He was preceded in death by his parents. 
							 
							Memorial donations may be made to the family, the 
							American Heart Association, or to the American 
							Diabetes Foundation.
