Left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins fractured his left forearm in the
top of the seventh, and catcher Travis d'Arnaud sustained a broken
hand in the bottom of the inning.
Blevins came into the game in relief of Matt Harvey with two on in
the seventh and was injured fielding a ball hit by Miami second
baseman Dee Gordon.
D'Arnaud was injured when a 1-0 pitch by Miami reliever A.J. Ramos
struck him.

Toronto Blue Jays rookie second baseman Devon Travis was removed
from the game against the Atlanta Braves in the first inning Sunday
with a bruised left ribcage.
Travis, who is batting leadoff for Toronto while shortstop Jose
Reyes is out with cracked rib, was hit by a pitch delivered by
Braves right-hander Shelby Miller to open the bottom of the first.
He stayed in the game, but with slugger Jose Bautista at the plate,
Travis slid back into first on a throw from catcher Christian
Bethancourt and in obvious discomfort was replaced by a pinch-runner
Steve Tolleson.
X-rays were negative and Travis was listed as day-to-day.

Detroit Tigers right-hander Justin Verlander is resting his arm
again after postponing a light throwing session Sunday.
On Saturday, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said Verlander's arm was a
little more sore than expected after throwing 45 pitches in a
simulated game Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Verlander, is on the disabled list with a right
triceps strain. Left-hander Kyle Lobstein will make his second start
in Verlander's absence.

Pete Rose, the all-time hits leader who has been banned from Major
League Baseball since 1989, will join FOX Sports as a guest studio
analyst on pregame shows.

Rose will be on the pregame show on FOX and FOX Sports 1 and will
also appear on "MLB Whiparound," "America's Pregame" and "FOX Sports
Live" on FOX Sports 1.
"I enjoy talking baseball, and that's what this is all about," Rose,
74, told FOX.
Rose, who accumulated 4,256 career hits, has officially requested
that commissioner Rob Manfred consider lifting his lifetime ban.

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz was ejected from Sunday's game
against the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth inning for arguing a
strike call.
With Boston trailing 5-3, Ortiz checked his swing on a 1-1 pitch
from Baltimore starter Miguel Gonzalez, resulting in third base
umpire Jerry Meals calling the strike.
Ortiz appeared shocked with the call before turning and arguing with
home plate umpire John Tumpane, who immediately tossed the
designated hitter from the game.
